The Kendra Springs Memorial Award was created in honor of Kendra and to continue her pursuits to find new – less toxic – treatments and cures for cancer. The award will provide funding and opportunity for College of Charleston Honors College students engaged in cancer research internships.
Kendra was a bright light and a constant inspiration. During her tenure as a College of Charleston Honors College student, Kendra participated in a highly impactful internship, which this memorial fund is modeled after. As a student intern, her ability to tackle complex research questions to make an impact in people’s lives was impressive, and her passion for her studies was palpable and unrelenting. Her contagious smile and her quiet, yet unparalleled passion for finding a solution for those with rare diseases will be forever missed.
Please help us carry forward Kendra’s commitment to creating a world without cancer and honor her memory with a gift to the Kendra Springs Memorial Award Fund. Thank you
