Committed to Charleston
The mission of the Committed to Charleston (C2C) Society is to foster and promote the core purpose of the College of Charleston in both students and alumni, with a spirit of generosity, philanthropy, and the need to invest in the College both financially and wholeheartedly. 
C2C is an officially recognized student organization that raises awareness about the impact of giving back annually to the College of Charleston (restricted funds list). This giving society is open to current students interested in enhancing the academic excellence, preserving a student-focused community and want to have a direct impact on advancing the College.
How does the College of Charleston Fund impact me as a student?
By the numbers:
68% of students on the CofC campus receive some type of financial aid or scholarship support, like those made possible through the College of Charleston Fund.
100% of all gifts to the College of Charleston Fund make an impact on the campus you call home.
C2C History
Since 2013, more than 1,000 students have become C2C members. More than $25,000 has been donated to the CofC Fund by C2C members. More than 300 student scholarships were awarded during the 2016-2017 academic year.

Seniors: Give and Get Early Access to A Charleston Affair 2019 Tickets! Give at least $17.70 to support the College by Thursday, February 14 and join Committed to Charleston (C2C). Qualified C2C members who are graduating in May or Summer 2019 will receive early access to purchase A Charleston Affair tickets.* Ticket sales open in March and last year’s ACA sold out in three weeks, so make your donation today to get on the list for early access.
*To qualify for early access to ACA tickets, C2C members who are graduating in May or Summer 2019 must complete and submit the Registrar’s application to graduate no later than February 1.

C2C's Beginnings...
Committed to Charleston began 5 years ago when class of 1992 graduate Johnnie Baxley and his wife, Michelle, challenged students to raise at least $10,000 for the College of Charleston Fund. Thus began The Baxley Challenge. For every gift made by a student, Johnnie and Michelle matched their gifts up to $10,000. Continue their legacy and show that as a student you are committed to Charleston by making your gift today!
