Foundation
The College of Charleston Foundation was established to promote the programs of scholarship, research, and student and faculty development, and advance the mission of the College. The College of Charleston Foundation, chartered in 1970, is an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
- We seek financial support through annual gifts, major gifts, planned giving and other ongoing fund-raising programs.
- We manage and distribute assets prudently within a policy that encourages the enhancement of the resources of the Foundation.
- We are governed by a Board of Directors consisting of alumni and friends who share in the pride of the College's history and who are committed to its promise in the years to come.
